KR Ghost: A Salty Man
Makoto gets melodramatic over Alan shoplifting.
This is a continuation to lucybeetle's fic and also contains crack and non-consensual kissing.
Later, they were back at the grocery shop where Makoto paid for Alan’s stolen goods. Makoto couldn’t accept it—here he was, finally a member of human society again and yet he was still mistaken as that weirdo’s accomplice. He wondered what to do with the soy sauce bottle he unwillingly bought as he sat on one of the unused crates at the back of the shop. While he was lamenting his fate, Alan took a seat beside him.
“You seemed to have learned how to become a good human, ” Alan said.
What Makoto felt for Alan was beyond words. What he felt was a hot, itching sensation in his chest that he had to quell. He looked down at the bottle in his hand and in a flash, he unscrewed the cap bottle, jabbed his finger through the protective seal and downed half its contents. He choked a little, making Alan turn towards him with interest.
“Are you supposed to drink this stuff?” Alan asked, taking the bottle for himself.
Makoto was still choking. He studied Alan’s hesitation as he took large gulps of air in an attempt to dilute the lingering soy sauce taste in his mouth. Alan was much less impulsive in taking care to read the label again, sniff the opening and even lick a bit of the rim.
‘Hurry up and suffer!’ Makoto roared in his mind.
Before the day was wasted, he grabbed the bottle back and poured into his mouth more of the brown, undrinkable fluid. Alan was about to make some smart-ass remark, which was what Makoto expected as he went mouth-to-mouth with Alan and forced the soy sauce down Alan’s throat. He did not pull back until he distinctly heard that Alan had swallowed it all.
Makoto didn’t expect that Alan’s reaction was to laugh. Laugh like it was the best thing that happened to him that day and laughed even louder when he realized that Makoto was glaring at him.
“Were you trying to attack me?” Alan said. “With your lips?”
Makoto turned away as Alan was about to take another sip. Next time, he would destroy the weirdo beside him. For now, there was little else for him to do but reach into his shopping bag, take a leaf from the cabbage he had bought for dinner and munch on it until the saltiness on his tongue went away.
